In the spirit of full disclosure and honesty let me start by telling you why I decided to create this Blog.
After reading the book “The Power of Everyday Missionaries: The What and How of Sharing the Gospel” by Clayton M. Christensen I felt the need to do something more.

When it comes to something I or someone else doesn’t know I am a card-carrying member of the “Google It” generation.
The problem is when someone has a question about the LDS church and they Google it you never know what you are going to get. There are lots of great resources about what it is like to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and there are also a lot of, in my opinion, misleading sites on the internet.

As a member of the church I have decided to add my voice to the options some one might find in the hopes that it might help someone understand us “crazy” Mormons a little better.

With that said:

  1. I do not claim to speak for the church, only for me as a member of the church.
  2. I am human and fallible but I try to repent quickly and often.
  3. I am not a writer by trade and if grammar is your thing you will have the time of your life picking my Blogs apart.
  4. I will talk a lot about my family but I will refrain from being too detailed in order to protect them from bad guys. (You know who you are)
  5. My intent is not to bash other people or their beliefs and if my standing up for what I believe ever comes across this way I apologize in advance, that was never my intent.
I whole heartedly agree with the Churches 11th Article of faith which states: We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
  6. I am not funny but I do laugh at my own jokes. But hey David Letterman has made a fine career out of it though personally I am more of a Jimmy Fallon fan 🙂
